Foundation of Ecological Region of River Dráva


The goal of the project is to create the basis of a long term program in the micro regions and counties near the river Drava both on Croatian and Hungarian side based on the principles of sustainable development. The project examines the social, economical and environmental circumstances of three Croatian counties and four Hungarian micro regions in order to define the strategy for development programmes in the form of crossborder cooperation. Also the legal environment and the national and regional development strategies are analysed in the view of future programmes based on the principles of sustainable development.
Types of services provided: General project managament, evaluation of documents, interviewing on site and workshops, setting up database, elaboration of study on situation and legal framework.

The European Commission has approved the first major transport project in Hungary, the construction of tram line No. 2 in Debrecen. The elaboration of the project was led by COWI Hungary Ltd. next  
39% of COWI Hungary staff has ridden their bikes to work on a daily basis under the campaign running from April 6 through May 8th. It secured the 12th place in "the ratio of cyclists" category for COWI in the ranking of registered companies. next
